Dr. CAROLINE IRETI AYO-OLALUSI

Dr. Caroline Ayo-Olalusi is a Chief Research Officer at the Department of Biotechnology, Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research, Lagos. She obtained her first degree in Fisheries and wildlife in 1995 from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, and a second degree in Fisheries in 2006 from the University of Lagos. She had a Doctorate degree in Zoology (Hydrobiology and Fisheries) in 2016 from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
She had certificates in an Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries: Monitoring and Evaluation and Fisheries Governance from the University of Waginnegin, the Netherlands in 2010 and 2012 respectively. She had won research grants from Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria and West Africa Agricultural Productivity grant Scheme as principal investigator, collaborator and team member of some research groups. Dr. Caroline Ireti Ayo-Olalusi presently, She Coordinates Nutrition section of Biotechnology Department where she designs, conducts research in all aspects of fish nutrition and nutrigenomics. She mentors and supervises other research officers.
