Unlock the New Year with Life changing Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarship Awareness Webinar by Success Waymarks Foundation, held on January 17, 2026.
Some key takeaways included:
- Learn how to tell your story and own it. Your journey matters.
- Don’t try to be “humble.” Be bold and confident in marketing yourself.
- Avoid applying from a “helpless” or “victim” mindset. Scholarships are mutually beneficial—you bring expertise, ideas, and impact through your research and experiences.
- A “no” is not final. It often means it wasn’t the right opportunity. Not every scholarship is meant for you—learn from each rejection and keep moving forward.
- Be clear about what you want. Clarity prevents blind applications and increases your chances of success. -
